Brand guidelines · v1.0 · July 2026

The JABASU brand system.

One reference for everyone who puts the JABASU name on something: the logo, the aperture motif, color, typography, voice, and core interface components.

02

The iris and the aperture

The two a's in the wordmark carry a dot inside a ring. That detail is the brand's signature and appears at two scales:

  • Iris: the small dot-in-ring marker. Used as a list bullet and separator, always in Cobalt or Aqua.
  • Aperture: concentric gradient rings that rotate slowly. Reserved for hero moments; never more than one per page, and never behind the wordmark.

The aperture always uses the Cobalt to Aqua gradient, and all rotation stops when a visitor prefers reduced motion.

03

Color

The palette is dark-dominant: Ink carries every layout, the two accents do the pointing. Click a swatch to copy its hex value.

Proportions

Ink dominates. White carries text. Cobalt and Aqua together should stay under a tenth of any composition.

The one gradient

Cobalt to Aqua, left to right or top-left to bottom-right. It appears in the aperture and in selective headline highlights. No other gradients exist.

Contrast

Body text on Ink is White or Mist. Mist is for supporting text only, never for text smaller than 14px.

04

Typography

Three faces, three jobs. Nothing else joins the stack.

05

Voice

JABASU sells to professionals whose work has consequences. The writing earns trust by being exact, not excited.

Plain over clever

Write this

"Ask in plain English. Get answers from massive datasets in seconds."

Not this

"Unleash revolutionary next-gen intelligence across your data universe."

Specific over sweeping

Write this

"We respond within 24 to 48 hours during business days."

Not this

"Our world-class team is always standing by."

Confident, never breathless

Write this

"Built with practitioners in healthcare, law, and data teams."

Not this

"The most disruptive AI platform the industry has ever seen!"

06

Components

The core interface pieces, shown live. Reuse these before inventing new ones.

Buttons

One primary button per view. Labels say exactly what happens: "Explore our products", not "Learn more".

Status pill

Launching soon

Aqua, mono, uppercase. States a fact about availability; it is not a badge for marketing claims.

Eyebrow + heading

Products

Three products. One standard.

Every section opens this way: a mono eyebrow naming the territory, then a display heading making the claim.

Iris list

  • Natural language to SQL queries
  • Conversational data insights
  • AI-powered report generation

Feature lists use iris markers, not checkmarks or generic bullets.
